Ritchie to implement UNIX operating system at Bell Labs in the year 1972. One should have basic computer programming skills to understand C language.

As a fresher, you can expect 2 - 3 lakh salary packages and for the experienced, it depends on your skill and it may vary between 15 – 20 lakhs/Annum.
