They ask to have a few minutes talk, and one has to perform this exercise in a very professional manner.  This is a tool to screen candidates and narrow the pool of applicants to be invited for a personal interview. It is ideal for a candidate to work hard and come off as a personable, capable, and perfect candidate. Please know and master the phone interview through tips and techniques and make it to the next round.

 

  • Firstly he/she should know the strengths and weaknesses.
  • Prepare a list of questions handy and ready, to ask the interviewer.
  • It is always better to review your resume, discuss your background and skills and know when you held each job, along with the responsibilities performed.
  • You should feel confident and talk in a pleasant manner without being zealous.
  • Do not speak either too fast or too slow.
  • Use a quiet, comfortable area with no distractions.
